We Collaborated With MAYA DEVI MEMORIAL INTER COLLEGE

MAYA DEVI MEMORIAL INTER COLLEGE is situated at Mohanpur village where there isn’t any senior secondary school in its 10km radius. It’s a single senior secondary school for almost 25000 families. There are only primary level schools which caused several dropouts. No senior secondary school caused a number of dropouts, especially in girl students. Approx 90% of students used to leave school in their mid of education.

MAYA DEVI MEMORIAL INTER COLLEGE is bridging the gap between these needy students and education. There are 450 students studying here out of which 300 are the first progeny of their dynasty who is getting educated in any organized school.

The absence of any single senior secondary school in this vast land caused several dropouts, especially in girls’ education. Because all the other senior secondary schools are very far from this land and no proper public convenience defer them to enrol in any organised school.

This school provides opportunities to those weaker sections that don’t get a chance to complete their academic education due to several reasons.

Girls are exempted up to 50% in the school fee so that girls coming from weaker and poor families to get a proper education without any muddle. Per student, the average fee is 60% less than the city’s schools fee so families from a poor background can send their progenies without worrying about finance.
